BACK TO THE STONE AGE By Edgar Rice Burroughs

Back to the Stone Age, the fifth book in the Pellucidar series, was originally serialized in six parts in Argosy Weekly in 1937 as Seven Worlds to Conquer. In September 1937, ERB Inc. issued the first hardcover edition with dust jacket and frontispiece by Paul F. Berdanier. Grosset & Dunlap began remaindering the first edition stock, with G&D dust jacket, in 1939. This title was out of print until November 1963 when Canaveral Books issued a hardcover edition with dust jacket by Sam Sigaloff. In November 1963, Ace Books issued the first paperback edition and continued to publish paperback editions throughout the 1960's and early 1970's. Ballantine-Del Rey published a paperback edition in 1990 with new cover art by David B. Mattingly.
