The Bobbsey Twins at Spruce Lake, the 23rd book in the long-running Stratemeyer Syndicate series, was originally published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1930. Early editions were bound in green cloth with a white spine dust jacket. Some print runs offered Bobbsey Twins paperdolls on the rear panel of the dust jackets. In the early 1940's, G&D switched to the pink spine dust jacket format. In the late 1940's, the blue and white spine standard dust jacket format was introduced. About 1963, this title went out of print.
