| The AIR COMBAT STORIES FOR BOYS series consisted of 16 volumes, written by Eustace Adams, Al Avery (Rutherford G. Montgomery) and Thomson Burtis. The series was published by Grosset & Dunlap from 1932 through 1946. The bulk of the series, which consists of the nine Yankee Flier books, were written by Montgomery and are often considered a stand alone series by collectors. |
