PELLUCIDAR By Edgar Rice Burroughs

Pellucidar, the second book in the series, was originally serialized in five parts in 1915 in All-Story Cavalier Weekly. In 1923, A.C. McClurg & Company issued the first hardcover edition with dust jacket and four internals by J. Allen St. John. Grosset & Dunlap began issuing this title in 1924 and offered new editions in 1928 and 1940. The book was out of print until October 1962 when Ace Books issued the first paperback edition. There were subsequent Ace printings through the mid-1970's. Canaveral Books published a hardcover edition in 1962. Dover Books issued an oversized paperback omnibus in 1963, subtitled Three Science Fiction Novels, that included At the Earth's Core, Pellucidar and Tanar of Pellucidar. Ballantine-Del Rey published a paperback edition in 1990.
