The single most influential man in the history of children's literature, Stratemeyer was already an established writer when he founded the Stratemeyer Syndicate in 1905. Under the auspices of the Syndicate, Stratemeyer contracted ghostwriters to flesh out the outlines that he churned out. Ultimately, the Syndicate was responsible for 150 different series in it's 77 year history. The following are series that Stratemeyer wrote prior to the establishment of his syndicate.
