This Cupples & Leon collection consists of at least 12 volumes. Five of the titles were written by Mildred A. Wirt (1906-2002) , the ghostwriter of the early Nancy Drew Mysteries. Wirt's titles, published between 1936 and 1938, include: The Clue at Crooked Lane, The Hollow Wall Mystery, The Shadow Stone, The Wooden Shoe Mystery and Through the Moon-Gate Door. Alice Anson, Anna Andrews Barris, Izola L. Forrester, Pemberton Ginther and Frances Y. Young also contributed to this collection.
