The World Landmark Books were available in both trade, library and book club editions. The book club editions, identified by the "Young Readers of America Selection" blurb on the dust jacket flap, are often found with facsimilie letters from the author. The signatures on these letters often mislead the experienced collector to believe it is an authentic letter signed by the author. The book club editions were apparently issued from the same print runs as the trade editions and stated printings are often found on the copyright page.
